Jessica & Adam – The Courthouse Restaurant, Cleveland Queensland

- Adam started his wedding day at his home. The last of his groomsmen arrived just as we got there.
- Adam gave his groomsmen their socks and ties in a gift box along with a small bottle of spirits
- Adam getting dressed into his navy blue suit
- Adam’s outfit was the timeless combination of a navy suit with burgundy shoes accented with a pastel blue tie.
- I love doing this shot with my groomsmen. I always tell them it’s my “super hero” shot
- Jessica was getting ready at her parent’s stunning Cleveland home.
- Jessica had the hair and makeup artists from Lawdy Miss Claudy do their work from their custom vintage caravan. I think this is such a great idea. Makeup artists need a lot of room to work. They need a lot of equipment and they need space to lay all of their makeup out so they have can find what they need quickly. This often can make working around them difficult as I don’t want to move their gear or inhibit their ability to do their job. Doing all the work in the caravan contains all of the make up gear in one place that is moveable and easy to manage. It’s also a pretty cool backdrop for photos!
- The girls had cute dressing gowns on so I had to get a few shots of them wearing them!
- Jessica’s jewelry and shoes had a strong silver colour scheme. I loved the design of the earrings!
- We took a few more shots of Jessica before she put her wedding dress on
- Jessica’s parent’s master bedroom had a cool circular window, reminiscent of a ship’s porthole which tied into their home’s bayside location.
- The excitement was building as Jessica’s bridesmaids fastened the back of her wedding dress.
- Jessica’s parent’s house had this cool looking wall that was a floor to ceiling bookshelf. It was the perfect back drop for the shots of the bridesmaids doing the finishing touches
